Context
People follow people, and not strategies. Because inspiring leaders bring your business to the next level. Leaders cannot be expected to be able to successfully lead others before being able to lead oneself and recognizing how their behavior and way of thinking affects others.
Main Objectives
The program will encourage leaders to evaluate their own values, beliefs, competencies, and qualities to increase their self-confidence and become more efficient and effective as a leader. The participants will gain valuable insight into their preferred way of thinking which influences general behavior. Participants will understand what motivates and demotivates them and use tools to be able to overcome these demotivators. The participants will be able to differentiate between manager and leader roles and responsibilities and learn to use those roles appropriately.
Program Experiences
• Have insight in your preferred way of thinking which influences your general behavior
• Differentiate between manager and leader roles and responsibilities and use those appropriately
• Learn what factors/issues demotivate you and how to overcome them
• Understand why change is needed and what your role is in that process
• Assess your own productivity in time and evaluate your priorities
• Formulate your own personal SMART goals and decide on how you will execute them at work
• Understand the importance of delegation, state what keeps you from delegating and know what to do to delegate more efficiently
Qualification
This course requires a psychometric personality test. Participants have to be Assistant Departments Heads or above with at least 12 months of experience in a leading position.
